![]() ![]() Please include the requested system files and also any steps you tried. That should help but if the issue persists, I’d suggest submitting a support ticket for additional assistance: Your games should be fine on the D drive. We recommend the C drive for the Blizzard app because of potential windows permission issues with programs that can modify other programs. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with %PROGRAMDATA% %LOCALAPPDATA% and %TEMP%.Delete the Bnet and blizzard folders inside the appdata folder if they exist.Step 3: Click on the app that you want to reset to see the Advanced options link. ![]() Step 2: Click the Apps category icon and then click Apps & features to see all installed apps as well as classic desktop programs. Type the following into the address bar (not the search bar): %APPDATA% and press enter. This can be done by clicking its icon in the Start menu or simultaneously pressing Windows logo + I.Delete that folder if it exists (usually program files x86) Navigate to the folder where the desktop application would normally be installed.Open file explorer/file manager (Right Click Windows Start) I tried all of the solutions here and got nowhere until i opened task manager> Right click Bnet update agent> open file location, then in task manager end task on the update agent and before it can reopen itself go run it manually as administrator. This will not remove the game clients just settings for how the app interacts with them. Since the issue is the app is not able to do a task it needs to do with applying data to itself or the affected game client, it could corrupt app data in regards to the affected client. Update or temporarily uninstall any security programs, which may mistakenly identify the login module as a security threat. Outside of that and without more specific information the only other thing I can suggest is to clean up the Blizzard app. If you're having trouble installing or updating a game because the Desktop App is stuck at 'Initializing,' try the following steps: Restart Desktop App. ![]()
